Dear RUN, This Thursday marks the last day to register for the RUN Summit 2021. - WHAT is the Summit? It’s the culmination of all of our fall brainstorming, when RUN leaders make final decisions about what issues to prioritize for the year ahead.
- WHEN will it take place? This year, we’ll host the Summit starting the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 2 and finish up midday on Thursday, Nov. 4.
- WHERE will the Summit take place? It will be virtual, so all you need is a connection to Zoom, on your computer, tablet, or phone.
- WHO should attend the Summit? The Summit is meant for RUN leaders who have attended this year’s regional convenings and Community Care calls, since we’ll be making decisions that require a little bit of experience with housing issues. The Summit will be interpreted in English and Spanish.
- WHO should NOT attend the Summit? The Summit is a space for people who are not usually represented in housing policy conversations: affordable housing residents, people who’ve experienced homelessness, and renters who have struggled to get by. It is not a space for homeowner allies or policy staffers. We’ll be thrilled to have allies join us at other events, just not this one.
How do I register? Click this link and enter your information by the end of the day on October 7. It’s free, and you do NOT have to donate anything to attend. Take good care, Tori |
