2019 Housing California Lobby Day

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2019 Housing California Lobby Day, part of the 40th Annual Housing California Conference. Lobby Day will take place Monday, April 15, in Sacramento, followed by Conference programming, which runs through Wednesday, April 17.

Lobby Day brings together people from all over the state as one voice in the Capitol to speak with legislative staff about important affordable housing and homelessness bills and how they can change the lives of Californians. 2019 policy priorities include ending "source of income" discrimination for Californians who hold Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8), as well as investment in more affordable homes.

DEADLINE: The Housing California Conference and Lobby Day regular registration ends March 25! Use the link to register below before it's too late!

RUN Regional Meetings

RUN has held this year's first round of regional meetings across the state. San Diego, San Joaquin Valley, and Sacramento have hosted meetings where residents, developers, and advocates have gathered to prepare for upcoming legislative advocacy. At the meetings, participants shared why they participate in RUN, learned more about 2019 RUN legislative priorities, talked about sharing their stories, and, most importantly, connected with fellow affordable housing advocates in their region.

Two regional meetings are left – the Bay Area and Los Angeles! Register in your area using the links below.

Bay Area - March 26 from 10 am - 1:30 pm

Los Angeles - April 11 from 12 - 5 pm
